About DeviceSpecsHub

DeviceSpecsHub is a free, open reference tool for web developers, UI designers, and anyone who needs accurate screen resolution and viewport data across real devices.

What We Do

Building responsive interfaces requires knowing exactly how devices render content. The gap between physical pixels and CSS pixels, the variety of viewport widths across 185+ devices, and the rapid growth of foldables and ultra-wide monitors all make this harder than it used to be. DeviceSpecsHub brings that data together in one place — searchable, comparable, and always free.

Our tools let you detect your own resolution in real time, look up specs for any device in the database, compare two devices side by side, and browse the most common screen resolutions in use today. The blog publishes in-depth guides on display technology, responsive design, and CSS — all grounded in real device data.

Our Data

Device specifications are compiled from manufacturer press releases, official product pages, and cross-referenced against published display teardowns and hardware reviews. CSS viewport widths are derived from each device's physical resolution and its documented device pixel ratio (DPR), verified against real-device browser measurements where available.

The database currently covers 185 devices across six categories: phones, tablets, laptops, monitors, smartwatches, and foldables. It is updated regularly as new devices are released. If you notice an error or a missing device, please get in touch.
